Linux, Unix, Mac
When writing scripts commands that affects the operating system be sure to test them on all platforms that you intend them to work on. Mac is of course a different os than unix and linux but even speaking of just linux and the distros they are very different with what shell commands they come with. Don't ever assume that the command will work make sure it's on the os.
