Make a habit of spending 10 minutes a day with a random user.

Go grab your girlfriend, grandma, friend, sister, mother, father, neighbor, coworker ... Just show him/her the frontend you've just created. Ask him/her what does he/she see and feel? What would he/she do?

And then just be a good listener.
Nod a lot.
Don't interrupt.
Don't teach.
Stay calm. Observe.
And the magic will happen.
