WBFS partitions on Mountain Lion
Today i was trying to backup a Wii game on my USB disk but i couldn't do it, it used to work ok on Mac OS X Lion but it does not on Mountain Lion.
I tried several programs and after a while i got the solution: run the program with sudo.
It turns out that Mountain Lion does not allow a normal user to access the WBFS partition

Thanks for the tip! But Witgui and Wii Backup Fusion are still not recognizing my partition. Maybe I am not doing it correctly? I'm running "sudo open path".
Edit: I ran "sudo path.app/Contents/MacOS/appfile" and it worked. Thank you!
Hey guys, how I do this??!! Please!!! I have Wii Backup Fusion and WBFS for Mac... Thanks!!!
The Witgui site discusses this issue and has a couple of workarounds. Basically you need to chmod the /dev/disk of your WBFS drive so normal users can access it. This is either a per disk connect chmod call or permanent via a script called when the disk is mounted.
