Be carful using translate3d or translateZ hacks on large elements or the whole document!
These hacks work by compositing the element on the graphics card rather than the CPU. This works great on desktop machines where there's processing power to spare, but on mobile moving massive amounts of data in and out of the graphics chip can negatively impact performance.
