In addition to teaching at Vanderbilt University School of Law, where he serves as the Centennial Professor of Law, he has represented numerous high net worth clients of his own as well as consulted with their professional advisors. In addition to having written numerous articles and books addressing cross border private wealth issues, he has had the honor of giving several distinguished lectures, including the Norton Rose Lecture at Oxford University in England and the Paolo Fresco Lecture at the University of Genoa in Italy.
