Rob has the fever, the fever for building things that make life better/easier/more fun.

Rob has been programming since 5th grade, made his 1st profit in middle school, and launched his first e-commerce business in high school.

The itch to build earned him a B.S. in Economics at The Wharton School and an engineering minor in computer science. (The itch to destroy led to a spot on Penn's football team, which he helped coach his senior year.) During his time at Wharton, Rob became so enthralled with finance that he joined Goldman Sachs, where he built frameworks and tools providing forecasting reports to the CFO.

It was at that point that Rob realized that he wanted to build something from scratch, something new and consumer-facing big. So him and his now wife, Lina, drove from NYC to Palo Alto to join Milo.com. He was the lead and only front-end engineer for about a year, during which time he reduced the bounce rate by 40%, helped develop the long term strategy and pitch deck, and implemented an improved interface for content availability, geospatial filtering, and a mobile site. In the first 3 months after Rob joined, web traffic grew over 500% and Milo secured its Series A. Rob went on to become the VP of Product, responsible for both growing the engineering team and guiding the development of Milo's software.

A year later, eBay acquired Milo as a new division, eBay Local. Rob spearheaded the 1st product integration into eBay's platform. For over 2 years, he led eBay Local engineering, guiding the recruiting and engineering processes while growing the team to 35 members. Rob's team became a key part of eBay's strategy to compete with Amazon Prime and were known around campus as innovators, which lead many members to be tapped for various skunkworks projects, including building the new eBay homepage.

Rob left eBay to travel in February 2013, built a company, advised and invested in startups before joining Atomic Labs as VP of Engineering in November 2014.
