I work in the Defense industry. About a 50/50 split between developing/instructing for C4I systems (Think messaging software and communications equipment) and then the other half is spent deploying, configuring, maintaining, and light development for a Learning Management System we use in the training department called Sakai. I enjoy my job. The company did me a huge favor by allowing me to continue working for them remotely from my home in Norman, OK due to my wife having some health issues so I bust my tail for them. Not that I didn't to begin with, but when a larger corporation acts like they remotely care about their employees I take that as a big deal. I'm also a father of two, and I love mountain biking and the video games after the wife and kids have crashed.
