in addition to being simpler to understand, the code is more readable and organized. These new functions help yes but it is very fashionable. Not to mention that javascript is something that has been obsolete for a long time. It is only used because internet and browser technology regresses instead of evolving. It goes down so much that a desktop program today is faster than a website. A thought that has been reversed over the years.
