Shees Park in Sharjah is a beautifully green spot that is perfect for a day out!

Shees Park Sharjah may be one of the smaller parks in the emirate, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t worth visiting! A trip to this green space is an excellent idea if you want to escape the city and enjoy the outdoors without traveling too far. Here are five reasons why you should visit Shees Park in Sharjah.

How to get there

The park is located on Al Khan Corniche and can be accessed by any car or bus. You’ll find signs from every major road leading to it. Be sure to plan ahead, though, as it does get crowded. Locals recommend parking your car at Shateer Hospital and taking buses from there—that way you won’t have to fight traffic on your way back to your car!

What makes it special

Shees park has always been known as a sports city, but it’s more than just football and cricket. If you like to stay fit, or even if you’re just looking for a nice day out with your family, Shees park is perfect. The park has some great jogging paths, playgrounds and parks spread throughout it. You can even find an open-air gym!

The best time to visit

The park’s opening hours are from 6:00am until 8:00pm, with peak visiting hours between 10:00am and 2:00pm. Most visitors come on weekends. However, you should still be able to find some peace on weekdays at Shees Park as many people choose to visit in their own time throughout the day and at different times of year so it can feel like there are more than just three thousand of you at any one time!

Our Experience at Shees Park

When we decided to spend a Saturday at Shees Park, we didn’t have any idea what was in store for us. We just knew we wanted to spend some time with nature and needed an escape from our busy city lives. As soon as you enter Shees Park, you are greeted by greenery, so if you’re looking to get away from pollution and concrete buildings, then Shees Park should be your go-to place.

Things To Do at Shees park

If you’re looking to add a little adventure to your visit, there are climbing walls, bouldering areas and high ropes courses for kids and adults. To keep everyone happy and occupied, there are other activities such as bowling alley, children’s playgrounds and a large duck pond. There are plenty of restaurants on site so you can enjoy lunch or dinner at any time; children will love dining next to all those ducks too!
