I am getting the same error as ilviavo, but using the address doesn't work for me. I also get:
bind: Address already in use
channelsetupfwd_listener: cannot listen to port: 8888
Could not request local forwarding.
But searching for ps aux | grep localhost:8889 or ps aux | grep localhost:8888 doesn't show anything.
