Line seeking in Bash

In response to http://coderwall.com/p/ajr2yq

CTRL+a will bring you to the front of a line and CTRL+e will bring you to the end of a line.

So you accidentally typed the wrong command?
up to display the last command on the current line.
CTRL+a to hop to beginning of line.
Fix the command and hit enter

Emacs and Bash share a lot of ideas.
